01About
Based between Mexico City and Berlin, Isi Audi delivers a very special live performance combining his own productions with improvisation and unexpected samples. He has crafted this format to separate himself from the average DJ set — full of cosmic dreamy sounds, mighty baselines, 2000s leads, and tribal percussion that recall the spirit of early uplifting electronic music.
He has performed at truly iconic venues and festivals worldwide: Thuishaven (Amsterdam), Sisyphos (Berlin), Factory 93 (Los Angeles), Womb (Tokyo), Cova Santa (Ibiza), The Sanctuary (Rome), Hovarda (London), Gazgolder (Moscow), and many more.
Isi is also the founder and curator of Shanghai Café, a monthly inclusive rave inspired by kitsch Chinese restaurant culture and the zodiac — a project born in Mexico City that has expanded to New York, Berlin, and beyond.

Shanghai Café is a rave from Mexico City that blends various scenes and audiences. The event stands out for its meticulous musical, experiential, and artistic curation — designed to provide a chronological flow that both new and experienced audiences can fully enjoy.
Each edition takes place in a unique location, transformed through art, sound, and lighting. The project believes in integrating diverse communities and profiles — dancing and socializing in harmony.
Shanghai Café originated from a dynamic cultural movement in Mexico City, blending local creativity with global influence. It has expanded internationally, notably impacting New York with immersive celebrations, and continues to evolve as a record label and soundsystem.
